Craig Clarke ran the Hong Kong Marathon for Let’s Play
In February 2014 Craig ran the Hong Kong Marathon to help raid funds for the Let’s Play Project. He did amazingly well and has also managed to raise over £750 for the Project which is a great achievement. From everyone at Let’s Play we would like to say a huge thank you to Craig for his amazing effort and choosing to support us. This is what Craig said about Let’s Play “Having worked with many of the children who attend their play schemes, I have seen first hand the immensely positive impact Let’s Play’s work has on the lives of young people with disabilities in the Banbury area. From days out to residential trips, the variety and quality of activities they provide is exceptional. Anything that you could offer would be very gratefully received and would help support the wonderful work that the Let’s Play Project does. Thank you!” If you would like to donate please go to http://www.justgiving.com/CraigClarkeHKM

Ellacotts 24-hour charity bowlathon!
Local accountancy firm Ellacotts recently raised over £1,700 for their charity of the year, Let’s Play, by organising and taking part in a full 24-hour bowling marathon from 23rd to 24th March 2013!
At the Lakeside bowling alley in Banbury, Ellacotts and Let’s Play arranged for their staff to bowl across four lanes for a consecutive 24-hour period, some doing two-hour shifts and others bowling for the full 24-hours!
Let’s Play is a Banbury based charity that supports disabled young people and their families, making leisure activities more accessible to them so the bowling event tied in with the theme of the charity, allowing families to take part.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part over the weekend and supported us through a very tiring but enjoyable event.
The bowling alley has been very accommodating so we are very grateful to them and want to say a big thank you to the staff there also.
