Our home page

Let’s Play works with disabled young people and their families to secure access to play and leisure for all.

The project provides trained play workers who accompany young people at activities after school and during the school and college holidays. We aim to respond to needs as they arise and have staff working in a variety of leisure venues and at our own base. The project staffs inclusive drama days and weekly dance and athletics sessions when disabled young people can work alongside their mainstream peers. We also run day trips and activity days for young people and their siblings during the holidays.

Let’s Play runs training days for our own play workers and offers training to our partner organisations, with the long term aim of ensuring inclusive provision for disabled young people at all play and leisure venues in Banbury.

Breaking news:

We are now running after school activities, including youth groups, five days a week. We will run 3 days of activities during the Jubilee half term holiday. Contact the office for details.

A professional filmaker has created footage for a promotional film funded by Sainsburys. We hope to use this to inform and entertain local business and community supporters. The film will feature in the first episode of Untold Stories which airs on the 14th of May on the Community Channel at 6:30.
