Who we are
The Let’s Play Project specialises in the provision of play and leisure opportunities for disabled young people age 5 – 18 years old. We believe in equality of opportunity for all. We strive to create a positive and happy inclusive environment where everyone is valued and achievement is celebrated and offer after school activities and holiday play schemes.
Our play workers are recruited for their experience with and commitment to working with disabled young people. Some of our play workers work at the local special school, others are at university and return each summer to play their part; others work locally in related employment. Our team is also strengthened with buddies and volunteers from local schools.
Highlights this year are new venues for trips during the holidays and partnerships with staff at the New Futures Early Intervention Hub at Wood Green.
Our office team consists of a Project Manager, an Administrator and Holiday and Out of School Co-ordinators. All work part-time but the office is manned Monday to Friday.
